Not exactly. The Chicago Sun-Times reports that Kanye West's mother Dr. Donda West, will release a book about her son, entitled Raising Kanye, on Mother's Day.
"I always planned to write a book, since I've taught English all of my adult life, but I didn’t know it would be about my son," she said. "Folks kept asking me why don't I write a book, and Simon and Schuster approached me about writing one."

After accepting the offer she brought best-selling author Karen Hunter on board for the project. The book will tell Dr. West's story as a single mother and detail her struggles raising her would-be famous child in the African American community. A spokesperson for Simon and Shuster reportedly revealed that the book will also feature never before seen photos. (source)
