You're nobody til' somebody kills you . . . on the internet.
For those who have been inundated with e-mails about the supposed death of comedian Sinbad from a heart attack, just hit delete on those correspondences, as the news is 100 percent not true.
EUR's Lee Bailey has spoken with the comic's brother and manager, Mark Adkins, who confirms that the former star of "A Different World" is alive and well (Listen to phone conversation below).
"That was a vicious rumor, I don't know where it came from, but it started last weekend," Mark, the head of a promotions company in Los Angeles, told Bailey on the phone Thursday afternoon. "It just started circulating around the country, and today I got more calls than any." (source)
Sinbad, I know the feeling. When I was in the hospital earlier this year people from my church tried to kill my ass off.
A couple of days after I was released this lady who looks like Miss Jane Pittman stopped me in the dairy section and hugged me, talking about "It's a miracle! Look at where the Lord has brought you from. Death child, death! He wasn't ready to call you home yet!"
I wanted to say "Yeah not yet, but you should be expecting a call any day now" but I already have created enough bad karma for myself.
