Timbaland, who's crafted hits for Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado, wants to help Britney Spears reclaim her once-stellar career.
"I feel her pain, it really bothers me," the 34-year-old rapper-producer says in an interview in Entertainment Weekly magazine's March 16 issue. "I'm the type of person who tries to save the world. I just want to take her away, go overseas, and work (it) out."
Timbaland says he invited Timberlake, his "best friend" and Spears' ex-boyfriend, to be part of that plan."I asked Justin, `How would you feel about me working with Britney?' I had to ask him that," Timbaland is quoted as saying. "I said, `Would you do it with me?'" (source)
A lot of folks are giving Mr. Mosley a hard time since he has been working with a couple of YT pop sensations in recent years. Big freakin' deal. How many of ya'll are amped up to hear a new Ginuwine album? Uh huh, that's what I thought. At the same time I understand where people are coming from with their complaints.
We need some type of middle ground here. Maybe Brit Brit can hook up with Magoo and do a Juelz Santana / Lil' Wayne type of Gangsta Grillz mixtape to get some buzz in the streets generated.
Hold on now, walk with ya folk. It's not like that nigga's schedule is full of things to do. It could be like the scene from 'Fade To Black' where Timb was in the studio with Jay-Z eating bananas, drinking kool-aid, selecting beats and all that. Don't even act like that wouldn't be hot!
