My best friend can attest to the fact that Carmelo Anthony was my "boyfriend in the head" for a couple of years. But when he started going dow to Fraggle Rock hanging out with LaLa I got turned off. MTV VJ LaLa Vazquez and her fiance, NBA star Carmelo Anthony, are expecting their first child together in March, Vazquez's rep, Jack Ketsoyan, confirms exclusively to PEOPLE.
This will be the first child for both. The couple, engaged since Christmas Day 2004, plan to wed after the baby's birth.
Vazquez, 27, is a VJ for MTV shows including TRL, Spring Breakdown and Direct Effect. Anthony, 22, a forward for the Denver Nuggets, won a bronze medal as a member of the U.S. Olympic basketball team in 1984. Now People know they need to fact check - - Fresh
