I don't shop at the Gap too often for the simple fact that the sale associates act too damn happy for my taste at times. As soon as I walk in the door they pratically give me a hug and pat me on the head as if to say "Good black woman. That's right, spend your money here with us."
Then again they could easily treat me like I was the amazing invisible negro likeo ther stores so I appreciate the attention. I just want them to calm down, take it down a notch. I'll still love you in the morning.
Anyway, Common was on hand yesterday to help customers design shirts. Mary J. Blige made an appearance at Sephora in Florida yesterday. As you can see she stopped by Trina's house and scooped up one of her wigs before making her way to the event. Kidding. I don't want any Brook Lynn Stans to attack.
