The couple were an item over Christmas, but have decided to give up on romance because they found it difficult to find time for each other. - Damon Dash has made the neighborhood around the Dwight School, where his son, Damon Jr., is an eighth-grader, a safer place. When the hip-hop mogul learned that some local toughs had harassed young Damon and stolen his cellphone, Dash paid a visit to Central Park West and 89th Street. He brought a couple of large friends with him. The cellphone was quickly recovered, and the punks who thought they were tough learned a lesson. It is unlikely they'll bother any Dwight students ever again. A spokeswoman for Dash declined to comment, but an insider told us, "It's totally true." Thanks Laila!
